Discover Randy's Diner Too

Randy's Diner Too is the kind of spot that instantly feels like a home away from home the moment you walk in. Nestled at 641 32nd Ave W, West Fargo, ND 58078, United States, this diner has built a loyal following not just for its hearty menu, but for the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit memorable. From my first visit last summer, I was struck by how the place balances classic diner charm with modern touches, making it perfect for families, friends, or even solo diners who want a comforting meal.

The menu at Randy's Diner Too is surprisingly diverse while still staying true to what diners crave: comfort food done right. Breakfast options run all day, so whether you’re craving fluffy pancakes drenched in maple syrup or a plate of perfectly scrambled eggs with a side of crispy bacon, there’s something to satisfy every taste. On my last visit, I tried their signature omelet loaded with fresh vegetables and cheddar cheese-it was cooked to perfection, and the portion size alone could easily feed two people. Lunch and dinner selections range from juicy burgers and crispy fries to hearty meatloaf and grilled sandwiches, each dish showcasing attention to detail and quality ingredients.

One thing I noticed during my multiple visits is the consistency of service. The staff at Randy's Diner Too are friendly without being overbearing, always attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure your meal is enjoyable. Observing other tables, it’s clear that they remember regulars by name and even recall previous orders. This kind of personalized service is rare these days and speaks volumes about the diner’s commitment to its patrons. It’s little touches like these that turn casual diners into loyal fans.

The interior itself contributes to the experience. Cozy booths, polished wooden tables, and classic diner decor create a nostalgic yet clean environment. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, making it a pleasant spot for both early morning coffee and late afternoon lunches. While I was there, a family of four was celebrating a small birthday, and the staff went out of their way to make it special with a complimentary dessert-a gesture that highlights the diner’s dedication to customer satisfaction.

Local reviews often praise Randy's Diner Too not only for its food but also for its consistent quality and welcoming ambiance. During a busy Saturday brunch, I observed the kitchen workflow: orders were taken, prepped, and served in an impressively streamlined manner. The team’s coordination reflects both experience and professionalism, ensuring that every dish meets the diner’s high standards. This level of operational expertise is often cited by restaurant management consultants as a key factor in sustaining long-term customer loyalty.

  • We had a excellent breakfast hopefully can try other dishes in the future. It’s a place you’ll go out of your way to eat at. The over easy egg where done just right. Wish we had one in Grand Forks.

  • Pretty good food for a diner setting! Quick and friendly service. Didn’t have to wait even though they were packed full on a Sunday Morning! Coffee cake was good but a bit dry and only got drier the longer it sat. My sandwich was lovely and my partner had the Cajun Skillet but devoured it before I could snap a pick. Would return!

  • Staff was friendly and helpful. We went on Sunday morning and there was a 20 minute wait but had the option to sit at the counter whenever seats opened up which worked for us. I tried the everything skillet which was good but if I were to be critical, the hashbrowns could have been seasoned and cooked a little longer to get a little crispy. Service was great and food was served timely and next time, I need to try their ginormous cinnamon roll drizzled with warm Carmel. My mouth was watering at the sight of the waitress preparing for another customer.

  • The restaurant provides good, consistent food and good consistent service at a good consistent price. It does the basics well. I don't think it'll knock your socks off, but you will not be dissatisfied with your choice.

  • Fantastic diner! Came a little early on a Sunday and was sat right away (it gets busy with the church crowd). I love that you can upgrade from toast to pancakes for $1! Totally worth it, they were amazing. The bacon and cheese omelette was just ok for me but my partner loved the chili cheese omelette. Amazing service! Go to breakfast place.

  • So I have two inquisitive, yet rambunctious, kids and taking them out to eat can cause a case of the dirty looks from others. I'm happy to report that around 4:30pm on a Tuesday was a great time at Randy's! The kids got pancakes that they loved - second best pancakes ever (only rating their mom's as better)! They ate their pancakes, I got a "No problem" for the substitution I wanted, and if there were dirty lookers - we didn't see them. Staff was good, place was clean, kids got crayons. Great local diner here in Fargo!

  • This was my first time here. Tuesdays are tech free Tuesdays and if you take their pledge not to use your phone during dinner, you can spin a prize wheel and get a feee prize. I received a free salad bar. Everything looked so good it was hard to decide what to order, but I chose the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. Words can’t describe how good the sandwich was! Definitely glad I came here and look forward to stopping again when I am in town!

  • Went to try Randy's for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. It's a perfect place for anyone who struggles with sensory overload. I really enjoyed the quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Everything was very clean and nice quality. I don't go to sit down restaurants often but this one was a true joy. The tables weren't sticky, like you'd expect at most restaurants, the bathroom door wasn't overly heavy to push to get in and out. Waitresses were very kind and patient and so were fellow customers who were dining at the same time. I also appreciated that there was no music playing. Usually I don't mind if there's music in the background but most restaurants have the music at very loud volumes and make it difficult to have conversation. As for the food, it was very delicious, wasn't overly greasy, and was very obviously fresh. Even desert was a pristine treat. We also didn't have to wait long for our food. Prices were very reasonable as well. 10/10 would come again. Absolutely loved it.
